
The anime follows kirby, a pink, spherical, childlike creature who does no longer communicate coherent words but possesses the capacity to take on new magical powers quickly by sucking up their proprietors. Episodes have also been released on a channel for the wii sport console, and on the game compilation kirby's dream collection. Within the U.S., the display aired on fox box, starting on september 14, 2002.

The collection ran for one hundred episodes from octoto september 27, 2003, airing on cbc at 7:30 am each saturday in japan. Produced through chubu-nippon broadcasting, dentsu, a-un entertainment and studio signal, it became directed through soji yoshikawa and mitsuo kusakabe, with yoshikawa coping with series composition, miyuki shimabukuro designing the characters, kazuo iimura serving as chief animation director, and akira miyagawa composing the music.

Features of Kirby The Complete Collection: The box also includes a booklet highlighting Kirby’s story and providing trivia about the series, as well as a soundtrack CD containing 42 music tracks from previous games and three new arrangements made by HAL Laboratory.

An additional “Museum” section features content related to every Kirby series game released in 2012, along with three viewable episodes of the animated series. Kirby’s Dream Collection also features 13 new challenge stages based on those available in 2011 ‘s Kirby’s Return to Dream Land. All six games were previously released separately on the Virtual Console via the Wii Shop Channel and 3DS eShop. Like the other four games in the collection, the Game Boy games ( Kirby’s Dream Land and Kirby’s Dream Land 2 ) are treated as Virtual Console, complete with “game suspend” and manual functions, although the Game Boy titles were never released on the service via the Wii Shop Channel. The game supports up to four players depending on the game chosen.

In addition to the GameCube controller and the classic controller, all six games have been structured to be played with the Wii Remote rotated horizontally.
